The New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP) is a unique entity of the New York Urban League designed to serve as an empowerment forum for early stage individuals ages 21-40 who live and work throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
We provide historic support to the community by assisting African Americans and other underserved to secure employment opportunities and skills that create economic self-reliance and equal respect.
Together with our partners, we developed and distributed 100,000 copies of the Parent’s Guide to STEAM and provide an accompanying workshop. Parents that help connect STEM learning in school to the home, will lead to STEM fluency for students.
