In partnership with the Hispanic Federation, Coalition for Asian American Children and Families, New York Urban League and Asian American Federation formed an alliance, along with the Black Agency Executives, to provide capacity-building support to Black, Latino, and Asian-led community-based organizations throughout New York City’s five boroughs.

The New York Urban League, co-administering the Communities of Color Nonprofit Stabilization Fund (CCNSF) provided awards to nonprofits across the five boroughs. Specifically, NYUL selected organizations that either primarily served a majority of African Americans as their constituency or had a 51% minority leadership as part of their board/executive staff. The New York Urban League in the pass has received a total of $1.3 million or more each year to administer its portion of the CCNSF program from the NYC Council.
