February is Black History Month

February is a time to honor and celebrate the rich history, culture, and contributions of Black individuals throughout history. Black History Month reminds us to reflect on the struggles, resilience, and achievements of Black communities, artists, scientists, and everyday heroes. It’s a time to not only recognize the past but also to continue pushing for justice, equality, and the celebration of diversity. Let’s use this month to learn, listen, and uplift Black voices year-round.

Education

The African American achievement gap makes the path the college less likely in underserved communities.

Employment

Basic jobs in underserved communities don’t ladder up to prosperous careers.

Empowerment

Businesses by and for people in the community aren’t being created as often as needed.
