About the event

The Starting Line: Serious Thinking for Serious Ideas is an in-person workshop for people with a business idea—or those who have already started a business—and want to think more intentionally about what they’re building.

Some people move forward without fully exploring the idea. Others launch quickly and later realize the business needs clarity or reorganization. This session creates space to slow down and focus on the foundation.

Together, we’ll build a skeletal business model, clarify the product or service, and identify realistic revenue streams. This workshop is especially helpful for those considering applying to the Black Business Matters incubator, preparing for Pitch Black, or determining their smartest next step.
