About the event

We are pleased to share the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) related to the New York State Legislature’s Black Legislative Task Force(NYSBLT) RFP to assist you as you prepare your application.


We strongly encourage all potential applicants to review this FAQs document thoroughly for guidance.


This initiative, funded by the NYSBLT, will award grants of up to $500,000 to organizations serving New York State communities experiencing the highest disparities in health, education, economic insecurity and justice involvement. Funding decisions will be based on alignment with program priorities, organizational capacity, and the availability of State resources. All awards are subject to final State approval.
