Employment and Career Services
The New York Urban League Employment and Career Services Program is comprised of client services that cultivates the maximum opportunity for workforce preparation and job placement success. The following service delivery plan outlines the participation requirements for our Career Preparation Institute.
- Complete the online contact registration form at www.nyul.org/register or you can complete it at the Bronx or Harlem employment offices.
Career Inventory – Complete the O’Net online career assessment (at NYUL Employment Offices)
Your initial contact registration and career assessment results will be forwarded to the Employment Services staff and a team member will contact you within 1 week from the week of the completion of your registration and O’Net career assessment to schedule your 1st appointment.
Resume – Prior to your scheduled appointment, email your resume for counselor review to firstname.lastname@example.org . If you do not have a resume, please complete a resume preparation form prior to your appointment. The form can be downloaded at Resume Preparation Form
- Career Coaching – At your first appointment, you will be assigned a counselor, complete intake documents and the required employability assessment. You are required to bring a government photo id and social security card.
- Commitment – Upon completion of the assessment process, you will be registered in the Career Preparation Institute. Enrollment requires participation in all components of program services as determined by your counselor.

Classified College Club – 12th Grade
