Young Jr. Scholarship Fund and education programs.
Event-specific sponsorships can include a multitude of customizable benefits based on a corporation’s needs and initiatives. Sponsorship benefits can include:
- On-site activations and direct business-to-consumer exposure
- Visibility and company branding in city-wide, print, press, and electronic materials
- Complimentary tickets and special event invitations
- VIP privileges
NYUL Champions of Diversity honors corporations for their commitment to diversity best practices, because in today’s global marketplace, companies recognize diversity as a key competitive advantage. The honorees were selected by a judging committee of corporate executives based on their commitments to diversity in four deciding categories – corporate citizenry, employment policy, supplier diversity, and philanthropic practices.

The Frederick Douglass Dinner is an important fundraiser for the New York Urban League to support our education and employment programs. The Frederick Douglass Medallion is presented to honor and acknowledge individuals and organizations whose contributions to society serve to eliminate racial barriers and promote opportunities for the disadvantaged.
In 2010, in addition to the Frederick Douglass Medallion, the League awarded its first Ann S. Kheel Award. The award acknowledges and honors individuals who, in the spirit of Ann S. Kheel, dedicate their personal time and have made charitable causes part of their life’s work. Mrs. Kheel was a dedicated member of the New York Urban League Board of Directors and founder of the Frederick Douglass Awards Dinner.
