forum for individuals ages twenty-one to forty who live and work in New York City.
Since its inception in 2006, this reception-style fundraiser, which attracts 250+ attendees from the Northeast corridor and beyond, honors the contributions made to society by African Americans while commemorating Harlem’s most celebrated legacy: the Harlem Renaissance. Proceeds go toward The Whitney M. Young Scholarship Fund.
State of Young Black New York
State of Young Black New York (SOYBNY) is a dynamic one-day conference featuring global leaders from the nonprofit, corporate, government, health, and public service sectors. Past speakers have represented companies and organizations such as Pfizer, American Express, BlackManCan.org, and the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health. The event is free to the general public and usually occurs late winter.
Bragging Rights is the official pre-party for the Annual New York Urban League Football Classic, hosted by the Young Professionals. This party with a purpose benefits the education programs of the New York Urban League.

This event will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the opportunity to exchange ideas and enthusiasm with fellow small business owners. Offered in collaboration with Black Enterprise, this event provides practical real-world advice and insights on launching a business, as well as networking opportunities for those who attend.
