Your contribution to Broadway and Baseball supports The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Scholarship Program
Whitney M. Young, Jr., (WMY) the Executive Director of the National Urban League from 1961 to 1971, memorializes his commitment to educational equity for young people through the NYUL legacy. Young focused on gaining equality for blacks in business and politics and improving opportunities for the urban poor. The Whitney M. Young, Jr. Scholarship of $3,500, preserves Young’s commitment to educational equity for young people.
