The NYULYP is run by an 9-person board consisting of 4 Executive Board members and 5 Committee Chairpersons . The Executive Board is responsible for overseeing the programs and activities of the NYULYP and leading our members towards achieving goals that support our mission.

Angelo J. Moultair, President |
Angelo J. Moultair, originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, attended Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania earning a degree in Business Management and minor in Computer Information Science. Angelo started his career with Enterprise-Rent-A-Car in Central Pennsylvania. His responsibilities included conducting operational and financial analysis, setting pricing models, and identifying growth trends. His talents led to a rapid promotion to Assistant Manager and later to a Branch Manager of two branches with complete P & L responsibility. After several years of developing and honing his skills with Enterprise, Angelo developed a passion for banking and successfully transferred his skills into the banking industry—accepting a position with HSBC. Currently he is an Assistant Vice President and Store Manager at Wells Fargo Bank. He is responsible for all branch operations including, developing innovative ways to encourage, inspire, motivate, and support team members as well as building a healthy environment for employee development and growth. Angelo's interest and hobbies include, traveling, lacrosse, football and soccer. He has been apart of the Urban League Young Professionals since 2008 and is looking forward to assisting in the empowerment of the NYC local community. |

Jemar T. Ward, Vice President |
Jemar T. Ward has been a member of the New York Urban League Young Professionals since 2006. He often teaches Microsoft Office courses at the NYUL Verizon Technology Center. In addition, he mentors a college student through the NYUL's Whitney M. Young Scholar’s Connect Program. Jemar also provides guidance to students through iMentor and is a member of the organizations' Young Executive Board. Raised in Queens, NY, Jemar has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Binghamton University. He works for the Human Resources Administration, a New York City agency that helps individuals work toward self-sufficiency. His role is to head employment projects and liaise with private employers in an effort to connect cash assistance recipients with viable jobs. Jemar also owns Strategic Insight Consulting Group, a startup company geared towards helping small businesses become more efficient and effective.

Chadwick Roberson, Treasurer |
Chadwick Roberson is a Credit Derivative Client Services Specialist at JP Morgan’s Investment Bank in New York. He is responsible for managing day to day Credit Derivative Swap trades for external clients and credit risk limit monitoring. Chadwick is also part of Ujima, a work affinity group where he serves on the Executive Planning Committee. He has been a member of the New York Urban League Young Professionals since 2009. Prior to joining his membership, he was a member of the Black Executive Exchange Program (B.E.E.P)—the college arm of the National Urban League where he served as the Media Relations and Marketing Coordinator. His commitment to serving others and community involvement has blessed him with the opportunity to mentor young people. Raised in Dallas, he is an alumnus of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Chadwick is also a member of the Advisory Council for the Southern University College of Business. He is a member of Brooklyn Tabernacle Church.

Symone Edwards, Secretary |
Symone Edwards is a Senior Application Analyst at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), one of the world’s premier comprehensive cancer centers for patient care, research, and educational programs. Symone builds computer based trainings for clinical systems, as well as maintains certifications and mandatory compliance courses. She has also worked as the Training Coordinator and Operations Manager for several teams. In 2009, Symone became a member of the New York Urban League Young Professionals actively serving on the Community Service Committee. She is a mentor in the Whitney M. Young Scholars Connect program, as well as Big Brothers Big Sisters. Her commitment to service also includes giving her time to advocacy organizations such as New York Cares, Habitat for Humanity, Carter Burden Center for the Aging, and Baby Buggy. She is a Brooklyn native with proud Jamaican roots and a member of Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, New York. She is addicted to political news, and enjoys baking, traveling, board games, football and dining.
