YP: Membership Committee Meeting

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
The membership committee is looking for ways to maximize your NYULYP experience. To this end, we would like to know what types of events you would like see more of -- whether it's for the community or exclusive to members. We are also working hard to secure members-only discounts that are relevant to your personal and professional life. Our membership consists of a sizable body of professionals who are considerably influential in the community and among peers; we expect to leverage this in order to provide goods and services to members at discounted rates. We would like to start at home by asking our members for leads or contacts for goods and/or services that would be of interest to our members. Examples of such discounts include gym memberships, restaurants, wine shops, travel, etc. Finally, we are seeking out sponsorship opportunities for the New Year. If you have access to or work for a company that can provide funds for our programming, offers matching grants to their employees, or can offer gifts in kind including space, we would love to hear about it. If you can assist in any of the aforementioned endeavors, please send information to ypmembership@nyul.org.
