The New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP) is a unique entity of the New York Urban League designed to serve as an empowerment forum for individuals ages twenty-one to forty that live and work throughout New York City.

Dear NYULYP Members and Visitors:
I am so pleased that you have taken time to visit the website of the New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP).
Please use our website to get pertinent information regarding upcoming events and learn about your committees, and read our blog, The Griot.The YPs are a collection of New York City area professionals that believe in improving the lives of others. Our members are doctors, nurses, lawyers, teachers, students, public administrators, financiers, entrepreneurs and more! With this diverse collection of professionals, we provide a unique networking opportunity where one can associate with like-minded individuals who are interested in personal & professional development, community service, cilvil rights, access to employment opportunities, financial literacy workshops, education, equal employment, and fair housing.
The YPs main function is to support the mission and vision of its affiliate, The New York Urban League, a local affiliate to the National Urban League, whose mantra is, “Empowering Communities. Changing Lives.”
I am excited, humbled, blessed and proud to serve for the 2012–2014 term. My goal is to ensure your experience as a member is a positive one filled with opportunities to serve, network, and grow as a young professional.
