By becoming a CARD CARRYING member of the New York Urban League, you are letting your community know that you want to join the MOVEMENT that EFFECTS CHANGE.  You will join like-minded New Yorkers who have chosen to become an integral component of the League’s mission; Its mission to insure that African Americans and other underserved New York City residents receive the necessary EDUCATION and EMPLOYMENT opportunities that lead to EMPOWERMENT and ECONOMIC SELF-RELIANCE. 
 
When you join the League, you are letting the community know that:
- you want to see students receive needed scholarships to attend the College;
- you want to see “at risk” teens not only become community leaders, but become community organizers and improve the surroundings of others;
- you want to see adults prepare, train and receive jobs that give them pride in what they are doing;
- you want to see families learn strategies to manage their money and work toward financial freedom;
- you don’t want your fellow neighbors in need to walk into a Housing Courtroom alone, without proper preparation and guidance;
- you want to wake up everyday knowing that you have helped a New Yorker in need.

Sustaining Member- $500
Includes: All the Anniversary and Supporting Membership benefits plus 2 week advance sale Football Classic Tickets, and both the Special Commemorative 90th Anniversary NYUL Pin & Commemorative Poster.

Supporting Member- $200

Young Professional Member- $75
- Must be between the ages of 21 & 40
