The Fair Housing Program (Manhattan and Queens) provides housing–related information and assistance to Manhattan and Queens residents confronted with housing discrimination, unfair housing practices, housing court proceedings or possible evictions. Fair Housing counselors conduct informational workshops for community residents, assist landlords and tenants in mediating formal complaints filed in court, and make referrals for temporary housing and shelters.
