North Carolina Central University Eagles vs. Elizabeth City State University Vikings Saturday, September 15th, 2007 - 2PM Kick Off The rematch of the 2006 CIAA Championship game where the Eagles edged the Vikings 17-14 on a last second field goal, the North Carolina Central Eagles were victorious again with a 18-10 victory over the Elizabeth City State Vikings at the 37th Annual New York Urban League Football Classic at Giants Stadium. Due to your generous attendance support of the 37th Annual Football Classic in 2007, the New York Urban League awarded twenty (20) students scholarships through the League's Whitney M. Young, Jr. Scholarship Program. Ten (10) students received a $3,500 scholarship and ten (10) were awarded a $2,500 Incentive Award. For the third time, two (2) students were awarded a Con Edison $2,500 Scholarship Award. Five (5) graduating high school students received a $40,000 ($10,000 per year for 4 years) Urban League-University of Rochester Scholarship. In 2006, Enterprise Rent a Car joined the New York Urban League as a company sponsored scholarship. In addition, four (4) New York Urban League Determination Awards were given to working adults seeking to continue their education. The night before the game, The New York Urban League Young Professionals hosted Bragging Rights! 2007 on September 14th, 2007 . This sophisticated and fresh event is the official pre-party for the Annual New York Urban League Football Classic.

Authorities will be stationed at all gate entrances of the Meadowlands to ensure that everyone has a ticket to enter the parking lot! Parking is $20.00. Vendor applications are available online at http://www.nyul.org. Gates open at 7am for vendors; 10am for the general public and will close by 8pm. |
