The goal of the Fundraising & Finance committee is to execute major fundraising events as well as monitor the YP’s annual budget and fiscal viability. They accomplish this goal through various one-time activities, as well their two annual well-known signature events, “ReBirth!” and “Bragging Rights”.

• ReBirth! honors and celebrates the essence of African-American culture and raises funds to support YP education programs and the National Day of Service.
• Bragging Rights is the official pre-party that precedes the New York Urban League’s Whitney M. Young Football Classic. At this event, an outlet is provided for young professionals to network as well as be entertained.
  
  

In order to provide our members with the assurance that funds raised and expensed are properly accounted for, the Fundraising and Finance committee conducts an annual audit of the YP account at the end of the fiscal year.
