Fair Housing Program
The New York Urban League’s Fair Housing Program is sponsored by the New York City Department of Housing and Development. The advocacy purpose of the program is to inform the public of their rights under the Fair Housing laws to reduce displacement and homelessness, and to eliminate illegal and discriminatory housing practices. We additionally assist low and moderate income families seeking affordable housing by providing educational materials and workshops on housing related topics and provide mediation services to both tenants and landlords.
