We are pleased to announce that the New York Urban League (NYUL) is partnering with the U.S. Census Bureau to help achieve a complete and accurate count of our population as part of the 2010 Census. The census gives us a voice and power to influence change and help to ensure the needs of the Black community are met – today and in the future. Consider the following:

• One of the shortest census forms in history, the 2010 Census form asks 10 questions nd takes about 10 minutes to complete.
• Your participation will shape the future of our community. Census data will guide local-decision makers on where to build new hospitals, schools, child-care and senior centers, roads and more.
• Census forms will be delivered to households in March 2010. Complete and mail back the form immediately. Census workers will visits households that do not return forms to take a count in person.
