HBCU Fair - Sat., November 15, 2008

The New York Urban League, in partnership with the Children’s Aid Society, Riverbank State Park, and the New York Urban League’s Young Professionals, will host its 22nd Annual Historically Black Colleges and Universities Fair on Saturday, November 15, 2008 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The Registration for parents, students, teachers, counselors, Parent Coordinators, School Administrators, and other interested adults is now available. Please click on the link below.
Once again, the New York Urban League’s Fair will be held at the Riverbank State Park, located at 145th Street and Riverside Drive.
The Fair will host over 40 HBCU‘s which will provide: application fee waivers; on-site admissions; and workshops for students, parents, teachers, counselors and anyone interested in higher education.
Attendees who register online will be eligible for special prizes that will be raffled off during the day.
The day will conclude with a Step Challenge highlighting one of the extra-curricula activities that can be found on HBCU campuses.

NB: At last year’s Fair over 400 Fee Waivers were offered to attending students, and over 128 students were offered admissions on‐site.
